Ordered Tune & Clean service as 16-year-old gas fireplace wouldn't start. Randall Tullis came and made fireplace to function and look like a new one. In addition, he was so friendly but professional, skilled and efficient. Kudos to Energy Products and their staff.

I reached out to Energy Product's & Design to see if they could help me find replacement parts for our customers fireplace. Mike Sample was amazing through the whole process and very easy to work with. Exceptional customer service. I have also worked with Brent who is also amazing and is always quick to answer any questions I have had. I would definitely recommend anyone to Energy Products & Design.

Energy Products & Design mounted our TV on our fireplace. They were super responsive, kind, and did great work! Darin and Jay did the work and it turned out great. We are more then happy with the final product and would highly recommend to others.

Even though they no longer service the product, he worked diligently to help identify my issue and find appropriate replacements parts. We had trouble with the company our general contractor used for a fireplace installation in our new home. Made contact with Jay, had a technician at our house in a week & Jay followed up with me the same day. Every one we had contact with was very knowledgeable & courteous.

I'm new to Rochester and new to gas fireplaces, so when my downstairs pilot light wouldn't come on I was pretty leery about what fixing it would entail. But Mike Sample from Energy Products and Design was extraordinarily helpful and walked me through trouble-shooting and part replacement/installation step-by-step in a knowledgeable fashion, replying to texts and phone-calls at multiple times throughout the day and really just going above and beyond in terms of tech support and customer service.

The folks at Energy Products were very helpful when I purchased and then self-installed a Kozy Heat fireplace nearly 7 years ago. It has worked fine. But last winter the thermostat on the remote quit working. I stopped in today and Mike kindly showed me how I had accidentally unprogamed that feature! Problem fixed! No charge.

I couldn't be happier with my Jotul Gas Stove/Fireplace and with the assistance from various people at Energy Products and Design. On the top of my list would be Willie, the sales manager, and Marcie in the service center. Both were not only quick with responses but so pleasant and helpful every time. I will add that I saw 2 of their people who travel to the homes for things, and both were just great, too. I don't want to leave others out, so let me say, in general working with this company and these people has been a good experience. Before and after photos attached.

We replaced our outdated wood burning fireplace with a gas fireplace in 2017, and we are still more than 100% satisfied with our decision of choosing Energy Products and Design!

When my wife and I first entered the store, we were welcomed by Brent. He educated us about our many options from inserts to fireplaces. Although we didn't know Brent was the owner at the time, we were very impressed with how he spoke so positively about his competitors.

Later, we began working with Willie. Wow, he is the best! He provided us with at least a dozen different options. He helped us to choose the best product for our house, not the most expensive. Now that's integrity!

Bob came to our home and totally rejuvenated our outdated gas insert. He made it safe, and convenient for us to enjoy the new centerpiece of our basement! He did an amazing job, was professional, and very timely. When I walked into the store to look for new gas inserts, I had no idea that this option was available for us and at a fraction of the cost!! This truly blew me away! Now we can enjoy the ambiance at one click of our new fireplace remote!

We worked with Willie and had a great experience. He really took time to explain the different fireplaces and help us pick the right one for our room. He was patient as we were really busy. All appointments and installation went smoothly with no problem. The finished product was amazing. It is so great to have quality work done right the first time! Working with Energy Products and Design far exceeded all our expectations! We appreciated how much care and consideration went into our purchase and installation of a custom white, polished, wavy tile Montigo peninsula fireplace. I will attach a picture at a later date.

07/2018: Brent and his team at Energy Products and Design are the absolute BEST! Their customer service, product knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. I just got my new Fire Magic grill delivered and set up today. This grill has no equal. I am beyond pleased! I also got my fireplace from Energy Products this past winter and the compliments have not stopped. Thank you Energy Products and Design!!

Update: 08/04/21 I switched from a NG line from the house to an LP line at my new house but ran into some issues with the Fire Magic burners. Mike Sample in service took expert care of me and handled getting me some new burners under warranty. Thanks Mike!

Mike, Parts and Warranty Coordinator, talked us through troubleshooting and restoring our gas fireplace to working order. We live four hours away from Rochester in an "underserved" area. Mike researched our 15 year old gas fireplace, looked at the cost of a long range service call and decided to try a low cost approach first. He put us, the customer, first. His investment in time and effort was successful in solving our problem. Then he followed up the next day to verify continued correct function of the gas fireplace. Outstanding service.

After visiting with Willie at least a couple of times over the past several years, I was finally ready to get a wood burning stove installed in my house. Since he had given me suggestions and advice on my trips into their store, I felt it was only appropriate to purchase everything through him. The catch is that I've never installed a wood burning stove, and I live in Kansas.

Though I have successfully renovated almost everything in a house built in 1890, installing a wood burning stove was new territory. Willie helped me along the entire time, and was incredibly tolerant of my 'rookie' questions. A lot of the documentation provided by the stove company was less than thorough (presumably because every house / installation is slightly different), but any time I had a question, Willie would get back to me with whatever information I was in search of.

A few parts had to be shipped down to complete the process, and every time things were sent right away and arrived in good shape.

After several weekends of working on things, we finally have a fully functional stove that should definitely keep us warm in the winter months.

I highly recommend Willie and everyone else over at Energy Products and Design. Great products, great customer service.

We just had routine fireplace maintenance done by Bob Schalau from energy products. Great work and friendly gentleman.
We did have a repair issue on one fireplace and he resolved it quickly and parts with him. Efficient!
He was prepared and had drop cloths and cleaned up after him!
Very happy and will definitely have him do maintenance again!

Sales and service were great. Dan was very helpful in picking out the right stove four us. Darin, Sean, and Derek did a great job with the install, and William was very instrumental in getting everything wrapped up in the midst of increased Covid restrictions. Thanks! Working from home is warmer now.

We added a fireplace in our basement from Energy Products and Design. The fireplace is a Kozy Heat Bayport 36. Levi came to our home to do the measurements and look over the plan. Then we worked with Levi at the store to finalize the design. I was very happy with how fast the work progressed on the day of the install. Jonah and Alexander made fast work of framing it all in and were very careful in our home, which we appreciated. The other subs were lined up for the same day so it was basically all framed in and inspected on day one! After the woodworking was completed a couple weeks later and everything was inspected by the City, Mike came by the day before Thanksgiving to fire it up for us. We are very happy with the end result and give two thumbs up to Energy Products and Design.

Bob did such a great job getting our fireplace back up and going. So friendly and professional. He even called the next day to make sure everything was working properly and wanted to make sure we were happy with the service.

Trying to restore an older model gas fireplace (that had a key); we weren't too hopeful until we talked to Brent. He gave us sound advice and offered his expertise if we got stumped during the process. Well... it turned out beautiful. We were so lucky that he knew his stuff about older models. Thanks Bent!

Range Custom Homes has been using Energy Products & Design for years. They are very knowlegable in their field, and do a great job of keeping us informed of their new products. The staff at Energy Products & Design are very friendly and their installers are top notch! We use them on all of our Custom Homes!

Our older Town and Country Fireplace went down and we initially had difficulty finding someone to service it. Luckily my wife found this company. Mike came to our home and was able to restore it back to good working order in one visit. We would highly recommend them!

We bought a fire table from Energy Products and Design a couple years ago and just recently the wind guard broke due to a storm. Mike Sample, Lead Service Professional, came out to look at the table and had it replaced immediately. Great service and great company to work with. Highly recommend!
